“L’HISTORIQUE” takes its name from a French word associated with
history, origin, and the story behind something.
It reflects the idea of bringing together the history and values
of French pâtisserie with Takuya Asai’s own journey and experiences,
to create new stories and values for the future.

The brand design is inspired by the cherry blossoms and hanaikada
of Hirosaki, Aomori, Asai’s hometown, where soft pink blossoms meet
the shimmering blue surface of the river. From this landscape came
the color palette, logo, packaging, interior design, materials,
and details, with its essence woven throughout every element
of the L’HISTORIQUE identity.
